A New Ride for the Pittsburg Program

The RES Success program in Pittsburg gained a new van this week, thanks to a generous grant from the William G. Irwin Charity Foundation and help from our friends at Future Ford of Concord.

This van is roomy with a lot of great features that makes it more comfortable for passengers, easier to operate for drivers, and safer for everyone.

Most importantly, it doubles the traveling capacity at the Pittsburg program. This means that we’ll be able to take twice as many trips every week — and everyone will have a chance to ride the van twice as often and visit twice as many destinations as they did before!

We will continue to take walking trips and public transportation when possible for even more community experiences — but an additional vehicle opens up all kinds of exciting new opportunities for our Pittsburg program!

Check out the pictures below of our new van and our friends at Future Ford of Concord.

Trips around our area are a big part of our days at RES Success. They help us connect with and enjoy our community and our place in it, as well as learn about the world around us, develop new interests, and make new friends.
