Our participants are gaining job skills volunteering at local food banks, traveling on public transportation to museums, celebrating an important milestone or just spending an afternoon with peers at the park.  We want you to have a glimpse into our everyday experiences.

 ๐Ÿ“šThe Contra Costa County Library invited RES participants & staff to speak at a "Get involved" volunteer workshop panel. Students spoke about their experiences helping out at the local libraries to Greater Bay Area library coordinators & supervisors. Thank you to the Pleasant Hill library & the volunteers for all that you do!


Volunteering at Walgreens

โœ”๏ธ RES Pittsburg participants had a productive day volunteering at Walgreens, where they helped restock shelves & sticker price changes!



4th of July BBQ Festivities

A Day at the Lake

What a fun day at the lake with peers! Students from RES Community Based Tri-Valley spent the day at Lake Chabot, where they had a blast paddle boarding & hiking the trails!! A huge thank you to the Lake Chabot Marina & General Manager Stan Wong for all of his knowledge & guidance about the area!
