RES Day Program Locations

Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill

This beautiful 3,400-square-foot facility is an ideal environment for individuals to further their academic pursuits. The facility provides a full computer learning lab, gardening opportunities, music, and art. Since Diablo Valley College (DVC) is just a short walk away our participants receive staff support in taking a wide range of courses at the college.  Located at 490 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill, click here for a map. 

Ferry Street, Martinez

This stately brick building is located on the corner of Ferry and Ward Streets in downtown Martinez. Light pours into the open floor plan that is ideal for those who desire an abundance of space. This dynamic downtown district provides participants with ample opportunities to become an active member of the community Participants enjoy the downtown farmer’s market period, Martinez Marina, bocce ball, library, and Rankin Park swimming pool. Las Juntas, Martinez

The intimate environment at Las Juntas is an excellent environment for those who prefer a quieter atmosphere. Similarly to our Ferry Street location, Las Juntas participants are active community members in the downtown Martinez area.  Participants utilize the bus and train stations to access Paddock Bowl, Todos Santos Park and other Bay Area destinations. Railroad Avenue, Pittsburg

This fully renovated, two story building was the first of our locations to go green.  The building utilizes solar technology for its energy use as well as sustainable materials throughout.  The program provides a computer learning lab, Zen garden, music room and curriculum based classes.  The facility’s proximity to Pittsburg’s revitalized downtown provides access to shopping, coffee houses, Pittsburg Marina as well as community volunteer opportunities. Alfred Noble Drive, Hercules

The program is situated in the quaint town of Hercules near the San Francisco Bay with beautiful views of the city.  The modern 3,000 square foot facility operates as a vocational training facility, assisting participants in becoming successful employees in their field of choice.  The program houses a fully equipped workshop and computer learning center.  The program’s 12-passenger, clean fuel technology van provides opportunities for participants to access the community for volunteering and transport their self-made products to local farmer’s markets.  Located at 702 Alfred Noble Drive, Hercules click here for a map.

Community Based Program, Pleasant Hill

 The Community Based Program meets on the vibrant campus of Diablo Valley College (DVC) in the city of Pleasant Hill.  The participants are able to integrate with their community in an active and dynamic educational setting. Many of the participants choose to enroll in DVC courses and enjoy the diversity throughout the campus. Additionally, participants plan frequent educational field trips throughout the Bay Area using County Connection Transportation and BART trains. With access to the DVC Transit Center, the participants are able to network with various volunteer opportunities in Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Walnut Creek, and Concord.

Community Based Program, Tri-Valley

The historic Town of Danville has represented change and growth for over 130 years. RES is excited to expand into this community, as it’s small town atmosphere provides an ideal environment for pursuing independence and enhancing social and educational aspirations. Participants meet at the Danville Library from where they embark on activities and classes in the surrounding San Ramon Valley.
